If you are in between 2 sizes, it will almost always be better to choose the smaller size. Workflow
The top is worked top down. First the left front is worked, then the right front, followed by joining the two on the same needles. Then the right followed by the left front piece are worked and combined. At last, the fronts and back pieces are combined and the rest of the body is worked in the round on circular needles.
