Sisken

Sisken is an entire collection consisting of several recipes in a combined PDF booklet of 39 pages.

The booklet contains patterns for a women's sweater with high or low neck (chest width sweater 88-132) and a women's cardigan (chest width cardigan 92-136) with 3 different diagrams that can be mixed and matched between the different designs. There is also a pattern for a children's sweater (unisex size 4-12 years) so you can match it nicely with your child or whoever you want.

In addition to sweaters/cardigans, there are also sock patterns for both children and women with different diagrams. The socks come in sizes 24-43. For the adult socks, there are patterns for 3 different heel types so that the sock can be adjusted to your foot.

YARN

The entire booklet is knitted in yarn from Filcolana - but similar yarns with the same knitting tension can be used without any problems. For the sweaters/cardigans, Pernilla (knitting tension 22/10) has been used and for the socks, Arwetta (knitting tension 28-30/10) has been used.

YARN QUANTITY:

You will need 3-8 skeins of the base color Pernilla and less than 1 half skein of each of the contrasting colors. In the pattern, under each design, you can see the recommended amount for your size and the chart you choose.

KNITTING NEEDLE

I recommend doing a knitting test to find the right needle size. For the vast majority of people, you will need to use needles 3.5 mm or 4 mm to reach the knitting tension of 22/10 in Pernilla. For the socks, I recommend needles 2.5-3 mm, but again a knitting test is recommended. I use a short circular needle (23-25 ​​cm) but you can of course also use magic loop or double pointed needles.
