KAPOW got its name when I wanted to knit a simple sweater but give it a little color - but KAPOW can of course also be knitted in a nice basic color. I have also knitted it in a striped version - there are instructions for a striped version in the pattern, but the pattern itself is written for a solid color version.

Sizes
A (B) C (D) E (F) G (H).

Oversize
93 (99) 107 (113) 120 (131) 142 (148) cm.

How big you want the positive ease to be is up to you, maybe around 9-15 cm will be suitable for many. In the pictures I am wearing size B, which measures 99 cm and my chest measurement is approx. 90 cm, i.e. a positive ease of 9 cm.

Recommended yarn
1 strand Pernilla from Filcolana (Skein length: 175m/50g).
+ 1 strand Alva from Filcolana (length: 175m/25g).
The color of the blue model is 337.
The color of the stripes is: 977 + 831 + 334.

Knitting strength (after washing and blocking)
Width: 20.5 stitches over 10 cm.
Height: 32 stitches over 10 cm.
(If you have a knitting tension of 21/10, the blouse will be 2-3 cm narrower).

Indicative yarn quantity (solid color)
Pernilla: 300 (350) 350 (400) 400 (400) 500 (500) g.
Alva: 150 (150) 150 (200) 200 (220) 250 (250) g.

Striped version: A rule of thumb for yarn quantity:
Divide the recommended amount of yarn into 3 and make sure to buy an extra skein of pernilla/alva in the base color, you will use it the most.
For this size B I used 3 skeins of Pernilla/Alva in the base color and 2 of each of the other.
