Thora Shawl
The pattern is Danish.
The Thora shawl is a lovely medium-sized shawl knitted in beautiful sequences of, among other things, rib and cables. There is always something new happening, and each section is therefore fun to reach. It is completely optional whether you want to add tassels or not. I think it gives a wow effect and at the same time a weight to the ends that makes the scarf sit nicely. But it can also be used without :)
Sizes
One size, width approx. 160 cm after washing and blocking.
Recommended yarn
800 m fingering yarn (100g/400m). This amount is enough for 3 tassels too.
The shawl in the picture is knitted in the following:
100 g Yak Lace (100g/ 800m) from Knit by Moltrup in the color Teddy held together with 100 g Ito Kinu silk (50g = 425m) in the color 354 Dark Brown.
Alternative yarn:
800 meters Classic fingering yarn (100g = 400m).
2 fat camel/silk (100g = 400m).
2 skeins of Yak/silk (100g=400m).
2 thick Merino or Merino Sock (100g = 400m)
4 ngl Alpaca Silk from Sandnes (50g = 200m)
You can also try using a thread of lace and a silk mohair together, I think that will also be delicious and slightly fluffy.
