COURSE - Learn to knit

Great that you're ready to learn how to knit! I look forward to helping you.

In this course you will learn everything from casting on stitches to working through your first pattern. You will receive the course as a PDF in your email immediately and you will have access to all videos immediately so you can take it at your own pace. (The videos require internet access).

The course has 7 chapters. The chapters contain text, images and videos to keep you well informed throughout:

Yarn
Here I will start by introducing you to all the yarn you find on the market.

Knitting needles
Which stick should you choose and why?

Knitting strength
What does it mean to reach a certain "knitting tension" when knitting?

Accessories.
An introduction to must-haves and "nice-to-haves".

Get started
Here you will learn basic techniques such as casting on, knitting, purling, stocking stitch, garter stitch, ribbing and binding off stitches.

Basic techniques
Here you will learn several different increases and decreases. <how to knit in the round? and not least how to correct mistakes.

Recipe.
Here you will go through a pattern for a hat from start to finish. You will learn, among other things, magic loops and how to change needles and yarn along the way.

What do you need?
If you would like to join in from the start, you will need the following materials (the same as for the hat we knit together at the end):

Yarn: e.g. 2 skeins Pernilla from filcolana (or similar)
Circular needle 4 mm 40 cm + 80 cm (for magic loop)
9 stitch markers
Needle and scissors.
