Chest circumference
Final circumference of the tee: 92 (100) 108 (115) 123 (131) 138 cm.
For a fit similar to picture 4, the positive ease should be 5-10 cm. My chest circumference is 90 cm and I wear a size 2 on the pictures.
Recommended yarn
The tee on the pictures is worked with a combination of mink/viscose/cashmere/wool from A Knitters World (AKW) in the color: ”Camel on the run”.
Yardage of 600 m / 100 g.
Gauge (after wash and block)
Width: 26 stitches on 10 cm.
Height: 36 rows on 10 cm.
Yarn quantity
200 (200) 200 (200) 200 (200) 300 g
– Please note the small amount of yarn is due to the long yardage of the mink yarn. Make sure to recalculate the yarn usage if swapping out this yarn!
Alternative yarn
- Yak/silk from ”Knit by Moltrup” or ”AKW”, 400m / 100g
- Camel/silk from ”AKW”, 400m / 100g
NOTE: due to the shorter yardage, more yarn is needed.
Suggested needles
Circular needles 3.5 mm or the needle that gives the correct gauge.
Circular needles 2 + 2.5 mm for the rib.
Workflow
The tee is worked top down and use short rows to sculpt the shoulders nicely.
When you have joined the front- and back pieces, you can add waist shaping if you want. I have worked mine with waist shaping.
